Get the firefox add-on here.

I ported the Chrome extension to Firefox. Nothing new there. Just use :)

  1. Like it a lot dude, saves having to load up the SLT Usage Page login, click and scroll all the way down. :)

Wish the icon "style" looked a bit more like the firefox bookmark icon. Simple Black & White, seems kind of outta place on the toolbar.

An icon which signifies usage, like pie chart or bars or something like that. Just a thought...

Tried a google image search for "data usage icon" has a couple of ideas.

    Kinda like this? Signifies Upload/Download.

    Thanks for the cool Add-On.

  2. Hey GK, thanks a lot for trying it out and most importantly giving suggestions! Yeah I know the icon is totally out of place. The one you suggested looks really cool. I can bundle it up as an update to the add-on. BTW can you help me to get the icon reduced to the appropriate dimensions without loosing the transparency or its quality? Because I'm not that of a graphics person, to be honest I don't even have Photoshop installed :)

  3. Useful addon.
But need one minor update. I noticed that the usage meter only updates value after I restart firefox(close and reopen) It should fetch data and update info when the "usage meter button" is clicked; not after a browser restart.
    Could you fix this?
    Thanks.

    1. Mmm that's new. Is it because you normally hibernate? Anyway thanks a lot for finding it :) I will investigate.

  4. Yes i almost always hibernate the system. Anyway that couldn't have caused this right?

I have uploaded some screenshots for you.

  5. It will be more useful if there is an option to know the peak & off-peak usage separately. that is 8.00am to 12pm midnight and 12pm midnight to 8.00am.
pls consider it for next update...

    1. Thanks for the idea. But why you need it? Do you have different quotas for peak and off-peak?

  7. You have to create a user account first.
